Custom sewing
A costume made to your idea and measurements, from the sketch to the fitting.
We sew classical and romantic tutus, character and contemporary costumes, and rehearsal leotards.
How we work:
- We discuss the variation, the music and your wishes for colour and trimming.
- We prepare a sketch and choose the fabrics: tulle, satin, mesh, trimmings.
- We take the measurements, or you send them following our guide.
- We sew the base, hold a fitting and refine the fit.
- We finish by hand: appliqués, stones, embroidery.
The work takes four to eight weeks depending on complexity. The price depends on the model, the fabrics and the trimming, so we quote it after the sketch.

Terms
A 50% deposit after the sketch is approved, the rest before dispatch. One fitting is included; for customers in other cities we sew to measurements and send photos at each stage. Fit adjustments within two weeks of delivery are free of charge.

Questions and answers
Can you sew from a photo of a performance?
Yes. Send a photo or a video and we will suggest how to repeat the silhouette and the trimming in a child size.
Can the costume allow for growth?
Yes, we leave an allowance in the bodice and use adjustable straps, so the costume lasts at least a season.
